Affiliates - Watch Out for Sharks

The latest trick is to add an affiliate link which only links to a page with affiliate program coming soon. Unless you know the affiliate manager, a comment like: "Visit frequently to avoid missing out on the start of the affiliate program " will only help the trickster build their traffic/ranking.
Even more devious are some new sites that add a signup form to a program that does not relate to their products or site. One site that promises the hard to source weight loss drugs including Didrex allow affiliates to sign up in an existing EBilling Secure affiliate program - a DirectTrack system.
No site in the EBilling Secure system relates to the referring site or products. This level of deception does not give an expectation of good product or customer service.
