Epharmacist - True to word.
6th July 2004 - Initial warning message
Please be aware that epharmacist has apparently failed to pay the last
2 affiliate commissions since June 15th. We are investigating the reasons
with them now. We recommend you slow or swap your traffic to ipharmacy.md,
until further notice.
6th July 2004 - Later the same day - Great News - Epharmacist Paying
Today
It is with relief that I send you this follow up notice.
Epharmacist responded promptly today to rectify the delayed payments.
We have not seen the payments, but we are assured by Beth from Pillnetwork.com
that checks and wires will go out to Affiliates today. (Update - This
did in fact happen.)
I apologise for giving everyone a scare. It was a case of casual communications
about the holiday closure. It seems FedEX were not delivering on Friday
and Monday as part of the July 4th national holiday, so Pillnetwork.com
also decided to close. So the money due for despatch on Friday did not
go out.
The missed payment for June 15th was an isolated case that will be cleared
with the July 6th payments. For overseas affiliates this delay means a
probable 4% loss on exchange rates due to the falling US dollar. This
is still preferable to not being paid at all.
Many affiliates have lost hard earned money advertising and promoting
pharmacies that have closed under them. Often this loss occured simply
through the lack of timely communication.
By keeping ourselves instantly informed through this bulletin we can minimise
a potential rapid loss of income resulting from pay delays or closures.
I hope you will forgive me for reacting so quickly to missed payments.
Please email me if you require more details.
Regards
Rick O'Shea
